I manage my own caseload of both paediatric and adult clients with a range of diagnoses including learning disabilities and complex needs. I work with clients with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, down's syndrome, dementia and mental health needs and dysphagia. I have lots of experience in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including within ABA/ VB (Applied Behaviour Analysis/ Verbal Behaviour) teams and with Case Managers.

I have experience in using TalkTools and I'm a qualified TalkTools Level 3 Therapist. I have also completed post-registration dysphagia training. I have experience in working with clients using a range of alternative and augmentative communication means and I use Makaton frequently.

In addition to direct assessment and therapy, I complete lots of of environmental work, ensuring that the environment is predictable and easy to understand for a range of clients.

I am organised and manage my time well. I respond to communications in a timely and efficient manner. I am a professional and friendly therapist, always striving for the best for each of my clients.

Before joining Eg (Training) Ltd, I gained experience in working with children with learning disabilities and complex needs. I worked in a specialist school for children aged 3-19 years, helping the pupils with their academic work and with a range of extra-curricular activities.

I enjoy taking part in a range of activities such as badminton and swimming, with friends and family. I also follow our local rugby union team.

I work as part of a team of therapists with a therapy assistant. This allows me to frequently access a range of supervision including clinical supervision, group supervision and peer supervision.

I attend monthly team meetings and access CPD meetings, where we discuss a range of topics. I also present at a range of the CPD meetings, sharing my experience and training with others.
